One anchor line with safe and flexibility

SORAT engineer use rope protectors when we need to protect a main rope from abrasive surfaces and sharp edges in various work places.
Why safe enough with only one main rope ?
We understand you think it is dangerous to work at height with one main rope.
Let us explain the reason why we can secure maximum safety with only one main rope.
1.Test rope and gears
An anchor line is tested securely by experienced SORAT engineer with SORAT Level 3 certification before we start to work. Also we inspect and maintain all gears.
2.Test anchor points
Anchor points have to support engineer, weight of the rope, and anything attached to the rope. we check it by pre-load test.
3.Test gears while harness is suspended with a anchor line
Before we start to work,first we have to confirm that all gears works fine and anchor points can support engineer, weight of the rope, and anything attached to the rope.
SORAT engineer is connected securely to a tensioned anchor line.
This means fall accident can hardly happen if an anchor line is cut or knots are not correctly tied.
Any serious accident can hardly happen in case you skip some very basic steps.
It seems for you that work at height with one main rope is dangerous.
But the truth is that we did not face any serious accidents for 26 years.
Safe rope access with maximum flexibility.
One of the best benefit of SORAT method is that we can work at height with one mail rope as safely as with one main rope and one back-up rope.
With one main rope,we can traverse a rope to reach challenging locations more easier and safer than traversing 2 ropes(a main rope and backup rope).












In other words,without having a backup rope,we can access any location which is too difficult and complicated to reach with 2 ropes.
